No Quitsies is a one-movie production company that intends to become a two-movie production company.
It was founded by James Napper in far Northern California — six hours north of the film industry, which suits everyone involved.
The name is a playground rule. You can call quitsies before the game starts. Not after.
The game has started.
Founder
James Napper is a writer who has spent his working life in the woods of far Northern California — measuring timber, checking other people's measurements, and driving long distances between the two. CRACKHEAD is his first feature. He intends to play the lead, partly for budget reasons and partly because nobody else has been asked.
CRACKHEAD: screenplay, first draft in progress.
No trailer, no dates, no announcements. When there's something real, it will be here first.
Early is when it matters.
If you act, shoot, record sound, do makeup, fix continuity, or know far Northern California well enough to help make a small strange film in it properly — write to us.
This is the early part. We can't promise rates yet. We can promise honesty about exactly what this is, at every step, starting with this paragraph.
We read everything. Response times vary with fire season.
