No Quitsies is a new production banner built around one rule: finish the thing in front of us. The first thing is CRACKHEAD.
No Quitsies is an independent production banner founded by James Napper in far Northern California. It exists to make distinctive work without waiting for a distant institution to declare the work legitimate first.
The name comes from the playground rule: you can call quitsies before the game starts. Not after. This is not a completed studio pretending to have a history. It is the beginning of one, made visible while the first film is being built.
A cautious, overlooked working man discovers that smoking crack drops him out of ordinary time—the world slows, and he alone can act inside the gap.
With the magnetic bartender he is supposed to be keeping casual, he starts using the impossible seconds to reach for a larger life. Every miracle he performs looks, to everyone else, exactly like a crackhead getting worse.

Two guarded people discover something real and use it together. Their best nights become the reason they cannot simply walk away.
The power is genuine. So is the delivery system. The film does not pretend those facts cancel each other out.
The feature screenplay is in active development. The next physical milestone is a short proof-of-concept that demonstrates the relationship, the time-drop effect, and the tone with practical locations, performance, sound, and editing.
No Quitsies is looking for practical collaborators who respond to the material, not to imaginary prestige. Current needs are small and specific.
No fake attachments. No invented budget. No promise that early work is automatically paid. Every conversation begins with the actual state of the project.
Writer, intended lead actor, and the person responsible for getting the first film across the line.
James has spent years working in the woods of far Northern California. No Quitsies is the ownership move: a way to turn the same stubborn attention used in field work toward a film that would not exist unless he made it.
